    After-School Learning Lab

    Make after-school hours meaningful with a structured academic program designed to strengthen skills across Science, Math and Language through hands-on learning, engaging challenges and homework support.

    At the BioTroopers After-School Learning Lab, students build important academic and thinking skills through a mix of science investigations, hands-on math and problem-solving, reading and writing activities, creative projects and guided practice.

    Activities rotate throughout the week, giving students opportunities to explore different subjects while developing the skills to think, question, solve problems, communicate and become more confident, independent learners.

    Science & Scientific Thinking

    Students explore science through experiments, demonstrations, models and investigations while developing skills in observation, questioning, prediction, measurement, experimentation and problem-solving.

    Math & Problem-Solving

    Hands-on activities, manipulatives, puzzles, games and real-world problems help students strengthen foundational math skills and mathematical reasoning.

    Language & Communication

    Reading, writing, vocabulary and communication activities help students strengthen literacy skills and learn to express their ideas clearly and confidently.

    Homework Support

    Dedicated time is provided for students to work on homework and school assignments, with guidance and support available when needed.

    Our goal isn't simply to get homework finished. Each afternoon includes purposeful academic skill-building alongside opportunities to explore, create and learn through doing.

    Program yearThe After-School Learning Lab runs September to June. Tuition for the full program year, with holidays and closures taken into account, is divided into equal monthly payments, so your payment is the same every month, including December and March. Winter break and March break are not charged.
    ClosuresThere is no regular programming during Winter Break, March Break, statutory holidays or scheduled program closures. PA Day camps, winter break camps, March break camps and summer camps are separate programs and are not included in After-School Learning Lab tuition.

    Science, Math and Language, plus dedicated homework time. Activities rotate through the week so students explore each subject.

    A minimum of 2 days per week. You choose your regular weekly days at registration: 2 days is $300 a month, 3 days is $400, 4 days is $475, and 5 days is $550.

    Parents drop off at the studio, 1900 Appleby Line, Unit 5, Burlington, at 3:30 PM and pick up by 5:30 PM.

    The Science Enrichment Program is a once-a-week hands-on biology class that ends each term with a Science Fair. The After-School Learning Lab is a Monday-to-Friday program covering Science, Math and Language with homework support.
